Description

Stunning Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 51 in perfect condition and ready to sail. A vessel that needs no introduction, featuring a hull designed by Bruce Farr and built in Kevlar-fiberglass composite. Owned by the current owner for nearly 20 years, it has always been properly maintained. Routine and extraordinary maintenance performed annually with great care.

• Standing rigging and turnbuckles completely replaced in 2023, the same year a full mast overhaul was also carried out;
• Harken Barbarossa manual winches serviced annually.
• The original engine was replaced in 2004 with a Yanmar 4JH3 98 hp, one of the most reliable engines ever designed by Yanmar. Regularly serviced, the engine has approximately 2400 hours. MaxProp 3-blade feathering propeller.
• Shaft seal replaced in 2019;
• Deck gelcoat free of cracks, with non-slip side decks and teak in cockpit and aft installed in 2023.
• Complete battery pack replaced in 2023 (4 batteries, each 200 Ah).
• External cushions redone in 2018 with closed-cell foam, fully waterproof and highly durable. Exterior covers and biminis redone in 2018, including lazy bag and lazy jacks. Interior cushions in excellent condition, never replaced.
• Fully functional electronic instrumentation, Raymarine GPS Plotter installed on cockpit table in 2023.
• Antiosmosis treatment performed in 2008. Hull brought down to bare in 2021.
• 6kw Lewmar bow thruster.
• Anchor windlass installed in 2020, Lewmar 1200 v4, with 50 meters of galvanized chain and 25 kg Bruce anchor.
• Rudder bearing overhauled in 2020.
• Seacocks and thru-hulls replaced in 2019.
• Sheets and halyards replaced in 2023.
• Main sail and genoa are original but have been serviced every year.
• Recently purchased safety equipment.
• RINA valid until 2027.

Full haul-out performed in July 2024 (antifouling and complete engine service).
